Cappadocia is one of Turkey’s largest cultural and historical tourism centers will start hot air ballooning from 22 August. Each of the 27 companies operating in the region is allowed to fly in one balloon. Tourists must comply with social distance rules and wear protective clothing and masks. Before boarding the balloon, the temperature of each tourist will be measured, and only after that the flight will be allowed. If the number of people infected with COVID-19 doesn’t increase, the number of balloons will be increased next month.
Cappadocia is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The natural beauty of Cappadocia, including the Valley of the Fairies, houses carved into the rocks and the hot air balloon flights, attract tourists from all over the world. There are guided tours for guests, horse and camel rides, and quad biking.
