Day.Az reports with reference to the official website of AirBaltic that Latvian airline AirBaltic has announced to fly from Riga to Baku in April, 2021 this week.
According to the source AirBaltic announced about a new route network in summer season in 2021 and called first 15 seasonal destinations from Riga which delayed in 2020 because of pandemic.
“Baku was among first 15 seasonal destinations from Riga which delayed in 2020. The destination Riga-Baku will add twice a week on April, 28, 2021 and carry out by Airbus A220-300. The travel time is 3 hours 35 minutes. The flight from Baku will carry out at 10:45 pm of local time and arriving to Riga will be the next day at 03:20 am of local time”, airline reports.
At the present time according to the report of airline, AirBaltic carry out the direct flights from Riga to the different business center of Europe and popular resort center as Dubrovnik, Riyeki and Split in Croatia, Barcelona in Spain, Nice in France, Larnaka in Cyprus and also Rome, Catania and Milan in Italy. Next weeks AirBaltic began to fly from Riga to Billund (Denmark), Reykjavik (Iceland), Madrid (Spain), Zurich (Switzerland), Turku (Finland), Warsaw (Poland),Stuttgart (German), Budapest (Hungary) and Liepaja (Latvia). AirBaltic also offers some direct flights from Tallin and Vilnius. They plan to connect Baltic States with 69 routes.
